About This Product

The special surface-shaped blade provides a high-quality cut surface with almost no knife marks when vertically sawing solid wood. In addition, since it is a "U-P" specification with a special coating treatment, the lifespan until resharpening is longer than that of conventional vertical saws. By omitting post-processes such as sanding, productivity can be improved and overall costs can be reduced.

U-P What is U-P coating?

■Special surface treatment to suppress wear on the cutting edge

It is a specification with our own special coating. The self-sharpening property maintains sharpness, produces beautiful cut surfaces, and enables high-precision cutting for a long period of time, improving productivity and reducing running costs.

■Features

- Demonstrates excellent durability when cutting solid materials, both dry and green. - Maintains a beautiful cut surface. ・Chipping resistance is improved by optimizing the blade shape. ・There is little resin adhesion on the cutting edge and the sharpness remains sharp.

■Notes

Please note that the effects of "U-P coating" will not be obtained in the following cases. ・Cutting boards other than solid wood such as laminated wood, MDF, particle board, etc. ・Applications where the base metal is severely damaged such as burning or cracking ・Special use for slicing and ear pickpocketing (Applicable to the side blades of gang thickness saws and edge cutting saw blades of finger processing machines)

■Points to note when repolishing

Re-polishing is only required for the rake face. In order to achieve a sharp cutting edge and long life, the polishing method, conditions, and whetstone recommended by our company are required.
