About This Product

■Features

This is a prevailing torque type nut that has a built-in nylon washer in the female threaded part of the nut, so the male thread of the bolt forms a female thread in that part, creating a friction fit that generates a large frictional force. Since 66 nylon is used for the locking mechanism, the fatigue strength under load is higher than that of metal, and it can be used several times. Since a nylon ring is used on the female thread of the nut, the tightening torque is stable and will not damage the mating bolt. Since the flange is integrated, there is no need to use special washers. The flange has a larger bearing surface area for the nut, making it more difficult to loosen. 　

■Specifications

・Stainless steel is SUSXM7. - The exterior is polished to a glossy finish by barrel polishing, so no chemicals are used. (Passipate treatment is also possible.) ・Since the contact part is circular, it will not damage the fastened object. - Since a nylon ring is used to prevent loosening, it will not damage the other thread. ・Can be used repeatedly. 　

■Notes

- The surface must have a metallic luster and be free from surface defects that impair mechanical properties. - Screw grade JIS B 0209 6H (grade 2). ・The mechanical properties and performance of stainless steel are in accordance with JIS B 1054-2. ・The inclination of the seat should be within 1° to ensure perpendicularity between the axis and the seat. - The offset between the hole and flange must be 0.2 or less.

■Precautions for use

Since this is a nut equipped with a nylon ring, please be careful when using it as the nylon ring will weaken its repulsive force and become less effective in environments with high temperatures of over 100 degrees. Although this nut can be used repeatedly, the repulsive force of the nylon ring will gradually decrease if the number of repetitions is large, so care must be taken when using it repeatedly.

It is widely used in various other industries to save labor and to prevent loosening in areas subject to high vibration.
