About This Product

Ryu M&AG handles medium viscosity pumps mainly for 1,000cP to 100,000cP as gear pumps for general industrial use, and provides them at low prices. This is a gear pump for conveying non-corrosive liquids such as resin, spun yarn, non-woven fabric, adhesives, laminates, etc., and is suitable for systems that require high-pressure transfer in general industries, such as metered transfer and pressurization.

■What is a gear pump?

・Gear pump = rotary displacement pump *1 ・Used to transfer viscous fluid*2 at high pressure ・Operates with volumetric efficiency*3 equivalent to diaphragm pumps and piston pumps, achieving continuous transfer with low pulsation ・Used for transporting high viscosity fluids such as molten resins, elastomers, adhesives, hot melts, etc. from laboratory level to mass production level. ・Applications of gear pump = pressure increase, transfer, metering (flow rate accuracy)

■Note: What is a gear pump?

・*1 Volumetric efficiency: A machine that changes the volume of a liquid in a certain spatial volume through reciprocating or rotational motion, giving energy to the liquid. Classified into reciprocating pumps such as diaphragm pumps and piston pumps, and rotary pumps such as gear pumps and vane pumps. ・※2 Viscous fluid When fluids are handled with viscosity in mind, they are called viscous fluids. In a viscous fluid, when considering an arbitrary surface within the fluid, in addition to pressure in the direction perpendicular to the surface, viscous force acts in a direction parallel to the surface. In particular, when the viscous force per unit area is proportional to the velocity gradient, such a fluid is called a Newtonian fluid, and the constant of proportionality is called the viscosity. ・※3 Volumetric efficiency Percentage (%) of the actual discharge amount to the pump's theoretical discharge amount
