About This Product

Normal LEDs always cast shadows from the wires bonded to the chip, but due to the structure of the chip, this point light source LED does not cast shadows from the wires and can reproduce flat light. Ideal for lighting applications such as high-resolution encoders, measuring instruments, and CCDs. Three wavelengths are available: λp660nm (red) and 850nm/880nm (infrared). In addition, the point light source LED with ball lens is a type in which a ball lens is mounted on a point light source LED chip, which improves coherence and is ideal as a light source for optical fiber sensors.
