About This Product

LEDs have a longer lifespan than lamps, but even with long-term use, LEDs can deteriorate (reduce output) on gentle slopes. Output feedback type LEDs were developed for use in optical sensors for industrial machinery, where even this gradual drop in output is not acceptable. As a countermeasure against deterioration, a method has long been used to monitor the LED output by placing a photodiode next to the LED, but this method requires extra space to place the photodiode, so it is necessary to miniaturize the sensor. This is a major negative factor from that point of view. This product greatly contributes to the miniaturization of sensors by mounting a photodiode inside the LED. In addition, LED wavelengths that can be installed include the less common wavelengths of 740nm, 770nm, and 810nm, as well as red, green, and blue wavelength regions, which we can manufacture upon request. Ideal for applications related to analytical equipment, such as photoelectric switches, medical equipment, detection equipment, etc.
