About This Product
■The nut itself is tightened. High precision work even in tight spaces
A hydraulic nut is a device that uses the hydraulic pressure of the nut itself to pull up and tighten a bolt (this product remains on the bolt). To use it, simply attach the hydraulic hose to this product, making it very convenient even in places where work space is limited. Multiple nuts can be tightened at the same time with uniform torque, increasing work efficiency. Since it is not affected by friction from bolts or bearing surfaces, more precise tightening is possible.
■Tightening management using “axial force”
Tightening can be controlled using the "axial force" that occurs when a bolt is pulled up using hydraulic pressure. Tighten multiple nuts accurately, evenly, quickly and safely. The main body of the product remains on the tightened bolt as a nut.
■Can be used even at high temperatures
Can be used even in locations where the ambient temperature is 500℃ or higher. We have a track record in nuclear power plants.
■Improve work efficiency
Work efficiency can be improved by tightening multiple nuts quickly and evenly. In particular, it contributes to reducing radiation exposure at nuclear power plants.
■Hydraulic nut operating procedure
The hydraulic nut can be used by following the steps below.
- Screw the hydraulic nut onto the bolt
・Connect the hydraulic hose and pressurize with the hydraulic pump
・Hydraulic pressure equal to pressure x hydraulic area is applied and the bolt is pulled.
・Turn the lock ring to the top of the piston to complete tensioning.
・All work is completed by releasing the hydraulic pressure and removing the hose.

・Places where accurate tightening force is required
・Places where there is a risk of bolt damage due to tightening force

Standard low and high pressure grease nuts up to M18-80 are also available.
