Overview

■This is a seismograph system that receives the "earthquake early warning" distributed by the Japan Meteorological Agency when an earthquake occurs, and instantly determines and displays the scale and time of the main shock.

■Easy operability

Setting (adding) evaluation points can be easily done by selecting from the map or the nationwide list of municipalities. Conditions for displaying information (magnitude, predicted seismic intensity, epicenter distance) can be set from the dialog.

■Monitoring communication abnormalities

It automatically detects communication abnormalities with the "Earthquake Early Warning" distribution server and maintains good communication conditions at all times. You can check the communication status with the distribution server at a glance on the screen.

■Simulating arbitrary earthquakes, replaying past earthquakes

By playing back the "earthquake early warnings" received in the past, you can use them for disaster prevention training and disaster prevention education. It is possible to simulate the "Earthquake Early Warning" issued in the event of an earthquake occurring at any location, and to know the predicted seismic intensity and grace period for a hypothetical earthquake. This will help you prepare disaster prevention plans in advance for hypothetical earthquakes.

■Time calibration function

The PC system time can be calibrated by periodically communicating with an external NTP server. Even if the system is built using a dedicated line and cannot be connected to the Internet, simple time calibration can be performed from the earthquake early warning message.
