■Applications, fuel cell stand

This is achieved by reliable, stable and highly accurate mass flow controllers with wide turndown and fast response. High-performance Brooks products are ideal for this application. Brooks Digital Gas Mass Flow Controllers respond to setpoint changes in less than one second. The SLA5800 series offers excellent responsiveness, a wide dynamic range of flow and pressure, and extremely stable, low zero-drift operation.

■Applications, catalyst research

Accurately measuring the flow rate through a research catalyst bed is essential so that conversion efficiency and selectivity can be accurately calculated for successful scale-up. Brooks SLA Series Thermal Mass Flow Controllers and Quantim Series Coriolis Mass Flow Controllers have been chosen by many catalytic research customers because they offer exceptional precision, wide dynamic range, and excellent stability. The SLA5800 series' improved turndown and reduced sensitivity to ambient temperature changes make it ideal for measuring catalytic processes where feedstock composition and temperature characteristics vary. Both product series are capable of high pressure service and are offered in suitable site grades and a variety of wetted materials. One of the peripherals, 0254, can be used for power supply, flow setting, and field instructions.
