About This Product
■Features and overview
・Using a magnetic ring, you can improve the rigidity of rotation, angle, or position measurements by taking advantage of magnetic measurement methods.
- Non-contact measurement, durability without bearings, can be used by incorporating it into a rotating shaft
・By using a magnetic ring, there is no need for an exterior, making it compact and space-saving.
・It has the advantage of being resistant to dust, dirt, water droplets, vibration, and shock, and by replacing it with an optical rotary encoder, you can create an inexpensive, rigid, and durable rotary encoder.
・For measurements using magnetic rings, please use the ultra-compact Ergo incremental measurement head LMIX or EMIX series.
・The magnetic sensor system measures the N/S poles magnetized on the outer periphery of the magnetic ring without contact.
■The following four types of magnetic rings are standardized.
・Outer diameter 72mm, inner diameter 54mm, width 7mm
・Outer diameter 38mm, inner diameter 30mm, width 6.5mm
・Outer diameter 19.75mm, inner diameter 14.7mm, width 4.1mm
・Outer diameter 143mm, inner diameter 120mm, width 10mm
■The magnetic division pitch depending on the sensor head used is as follows.
・Magnetic pole division 5mm pitch (for LMIX)
・Magnetic pole division 2mm pitch (for EMIX)
・Magnetic pole division 2.5mm pitch (for IZ16E) with display
*Please refer to the dedicated manual for the sensor you are using for technical specifications and handling methods of the sensor head.
*There is also a small, low-cost magnetic rotary encoder MIRE type that measures the rotation of discs and shafts without contact (resolution 1.40625 degrees, MAX 10,000 rpm)
■Usage example
Control of synchronous motors, injection machines, die casting machines, index tables, angle rotation measurement of industrial machinery
