Ultrasonic heat seal inspection machine UE-02
■20-channel array sensor enables automatic inspection of all seal surfaces.
Yamaha's ultrasonic heat seal inspection machine detects packaging seal defects with high precision. Equipped with a new 20-channel array sensor, it is now possible to instantaneously image the sealing surface using a line scan without submerging or contaminating the product, making it possible to perform fully automated 100% inspection on the production line.

■High inspection accuracy prevents defective leaks
This is the industry's first ultrasonic camera equipped with a line sensor. Overwhelming sensitivity has been achieved using Yamaha's advanced sound signal processing technology. The false positive rate is only 1 in 10,000. The ultrasonic inspection method, which is excellent in principle, is not affected by the color or material of the pouch, so it reveals defects that were previously difficult to detect. We deliver unchanging inspection performance no matter the environment or process.
■Achieve stable production with smart judgment functions
Overdetection rate affects productivity in the heat seal inspection process. Strict inspection standards not only result in good products being judged as defective and lower yields, but also can result in burdensome confirmation work and readjustment after automatic inspection. Therefore, Yamaha has developed a unique judgment algorithm and smart learning function to suppress over-detection. Ultrasonic waves can stabilize production and reduce loss costs.
■Improved reliability by saving all images
Ultrasonic waves provide a clear image of the sealing surface. You can now clearly see defective areas, sizes, and shapes that were previously only visible through numbers and graphs. All inspection results are saved as image data to ensure 100% traceability. Our strict quality assurance system earns us the deep trust of our business partners. It can also be used to investigate the causes of defects and improve quality.
