About This Product

■SummaryA purely domestically produced magnetic card reader that combines reliability and a proven track record. Since we began selling magnetic card readers in 1983, the PDC-30 has been used for personal authentication in security systems at financial institutions, medical institutions, etc., as well as customer (member) management at commercial facilities. Since its release, System Gear's magnetic card readers have been developed, manufactured, and maintained in-house at our domestic technical center.

Functions/Features
■Safe and clean with silver ion power Antibacterial processing makes it safe in the food industry and medical settingsPDC-30 has antibacterial specifications that comply with JISZ2801, so it can be used safely in medical and food facilities where hygiene management is required. Antibacterial agents are incorporated into the material itself, rather than just the surface being antibacterial. The antibacterial effect lasts semi-permanently without being affected by deterioration such as abrasion.

■No special driver required, just connect to the USB portPDC-30 does not require any special software to transfer data to a computer. It operates using the USB human interface that comes standard with Windows OS. You can send magnetic card data as a keyboard image by simply inserting it into your computer's USB port.
*PDC-30UR is not compatible. Please use a dedicated driver.

■ Supports kanji output for convenient reading of patient ticketsThe PDC-30 is compatible with reading magnetic cards containing kanji codes (compatible with JIS 1st and 2nd standards), which are mainly used for patient tickets. It is possible to send Kanji information such as the patient number and name at the same time in the character code (Shift_JIS, Unicode compatible) that matches the application being used. Advance settings are required using the settings app "PeTooL".

■Easy setup with the settings app “PeTooL”You can easily set the following items to suit your system and environment from your computer screen. With the file saving function for settings, it is also possible to efficiently configure settings for multiple devices.
・Data extraction settings (up to 3 locations)
・Add line break code
・Add half-width alphanumeric characters to the beginning and end (2 bytes)
・Changing the buzzer sound
