DLFLSP2R is a beam splitter that projects two wavelengths of fluorescence onto two cameras. Can be used with or without THT Mesoscope. Both configurations utilize a tandem lens style that includes a PLAN APO lens, a wide optical path, and a large, custom-made fluorescent filter cube.
A large, custom-built dichroic mirror is used to split the fluorescence emitted by a biological sample into two different wavelengths, which are then sent to two separate cameras.
The dichroic mirror uses a kinetic mount with easy shift and tilt adjustment knobs, allowing users to easily superimpose images of two different wavelengths. An excitation source light guide can be connected using an adapter on the side. In this way, DLFLSP2R can also be used as an epifluorescence filter unit for single wavelength fluorescence imaging.
■Application
・Dual-wavelength imaging of biological samples stained with membrane voltage-sensitive dyes and calcium indicators
・Fluorescence ratiometric imaging using calcium indicators or membrane voltage sensitive dyes
