Water Retention Tester WR is a water retention analyzer that complies with TAPPI T-701.
■Summary
Measurement time (usually 90 seconds), filling time (usually 15 seconds), and measurement pressure (usually 50 kPa) can be easily set on the touch panel. Equipped with a self-calibration function, there is no need to manually adjust the pressure if you set it on the touch panel first.
The WR value can be calculated by inputting the weight of the base paper before and after measurement using the analytical scale into the Excel app. It is characterized by its simple design and ability to perform measurements in a shorter time than conventional water retention measuring instruments.
