■Principle
Ion Attachment Mass Spectroscopy (IAMS) is a mass spectrometry method that allows you to see the substance you want to see using the mass number of the substance + the mass number of the attached ions.
IAMS is capable of continuously detecting unspecified substances in real time, and is used in the fields of VOC detection, breath analysis, and odor analysis, and is also compatible with the detection of phthalate esters under RoHS II, which came into effect in July 2019. I'm doing it. For example, by attaching lithium ions (Li+) to the substance you want to see, you can ionize it and monitor it with a mass spectrometer (use an analyzer according to the mass number) to find out the substance you want to see.
