We are pleased to announce the TOPAZ®64, a 64CH portable phased array ultrasonic flaw detection system that combines the required capabilities into a single device to achieve more accurate and faster inspections. It has the power to simultaneously excite 64 elements (apertures) in phased array UT applications, as well as industry-leading features such as full matrix capture (FMC) and total focusing method (TFM).
TOPAZ64 offers a smart approach to difficult inspections using the latest technology, including:
■Even when inspecting complex composite materials or thick steel welds, TOPAZ64 provides better coverage.
・Inspection based on 64/128PR phased array ultrasonic testing method
・High-definition full matrix capture (FMC)
・Total focusing method with up to 1 million data points per frame
・Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) inspection
■Operation using proven UltraVision®
TOPAZ64 is equipped with UltraVision Touch software. This powerful yet easy-to-use software controls phased array UT signal data acquisition, displays real-time images, and provides an online and offline data analysis environment.
UltraVision implements a number of advanced features to improve UT inspections, including advanced FMC, real-time high-definition TFM, and the ability to perform offline TFM processing from recorded elementary A-Scans.
