Features
■Up to 32 elements can be excited simultaneously
Up to 128 elements can be used, and up to 32 elements can be excited simultaneously. Additionally, since it is equipped with a regular UT with two transmitting and receiving channels (P/R), it is possible to perform TOFD flaw detection while performing phased array flaw detection from both sides of the weld line. Furthermore, the phased array channel can be excited at 75V, making it possible to detect flaws in thick-walled materials and highly attenuated materials.
■Control and analysis with UltraVision
By connecting ZIRCON to the software UltraVision and a computer, you can utilize the high functionality of UltraVision. Data files collected with ZIRCON can be loaded into UltraVision, and advanced analysis can be performed using the advanced features of the advanced version and 3D version.
■TimeReversal function
The TimeReversal function (Note) enables flaw detection of parts with a wide variety of shape changes, such as those found in composite materials.
■ (Note) What is the TimeReversal function?
PA-UT inspection technology that processes "surface shape profiling" in real time. The surface shape of the object to be inspected is measured in real time inside the flaw detector, and the delay time of the transmitted wave is corrected according to the surface shape. This makes it possible to accurately detect flaws even in areas with changes in shape.
■Systematization of flaw detection
One UltraVision can control up to 10 ZIRCON units.
It is capable of high-speed data processing (~10MB/s data transfer), has 16-bit digitizer resolution in the amplitude direction, and is capable of generating data files of over 20GB.
■Rugged design that can operate even in poor environments
Completely sealed structure with no air intake for air intake or exhaust, prevents dust, moisture, etc. from entering the main unit.
