About This Product
A glass surface stress meter is a device developed to measure the surface stress of chemically or physically strengthened glass. Light propagates along the glass surface and uses photoelastic technology to measure surface stress and its depth. There is little error caused by the measurer, and it provides excellent functionality for product development and management.
■Features
・Since a laser is used as the light source, it is possible to measure stress in enamel, cloisonné, ceramic glazes, and plate glass that cannot be measured using the float method, which cannot be measured using a sodium lamp.
・A bias scope type high-sensitivity stress meter is also available as a sister model.
