About This Product

A patented technology that simultaneously tests both drug dissolution rate and permeability in a single tablet test. Functions as an important research and development tool, ranking research formulations and supporting formulation development. DissofluxTM is a patented technology that allows for simultaneous testing of both drug dissolution rate and permeability in drug formulations. This can serve as an important research and development tool, ranking investigational formulations and aiding formulation development. The effects of different excipients on drug dissolution and permeability can be investigated. Based on flux values, in vitro and in vivo correlations can be derived.

■Effect of excipients

- It is necessary to evaluate the possibility that differences in excipients between the test product and the standard product may affect bioabsorption. Common excipients known to affect absorption include: Sugar – Alcohol = Mannitol and Sorbitol Surfactant = sodium lauryl sulfate - Caco-2 cell-based assays are time-consuming and expensive, and detergent-containing formulations have limitations. Dissoflux can be used to understand drug excipient-based effects on both dissolution and absorption.

- Reusable infiltration chambers in two sizes for use with standard 1000ml vessels ・Overhead stirring ensures uniform concentration in the infiltration chamber -The membrane separates the osmotic sink test solution from the elution test solution. ・Collecting the minimum necessary sample amount using a microsampling cannula ・Easily converts to a regular dissolution tester by simply replacing the dispenser plate
