About This Product
■Summary
This machine is a lap grinding machine equipped with an ELID (electrolytic in-process dressing) device, and was jointly developed with RIKEN.
■Features
1) Single-sided lap and double-sided lap grinding is possible.
2) Grinding with constant pressure (pressure transfer type machining) or forced cutting (motion transfer type machining) is possible.
3) A vacuum chuck is used to hold the workpiece, making it easy to attach and remove the workpiece.
■Grinding process form of Hikarion lap grinder
1) High efficiency grinding...forced grinding using a coarse metal bonded grindstone
2) Mirror grinding...Constant pressure grinding using a fine abrasive metal bond (or metal-resin bond) grinding wheel
3) Ultra-precision grinding...Constant pressure grinding using ultra-fine abrasive metal-resin bond grindstone
4) Grinding of large workpieces…forced grinding or constant pressure grinding using a cup grinding wheel
