About This Product

This is an integrated device that has a built-in near-infrared irradiation light source and measures spectra using either a transmission type or a reflection type. Quantitative and qualitative analysis is possible by analyzing the measured absorbance spectrum using the included software. Features

■High-sensitivity measurement in the near-infrared region is possible with the built-in high-output light source

You can easily obtain the near-infrared absorption spectrum of the target object by simply placing the sample you want to measure at the light receiving end and performing the measurement.

■Lamp and light sensor are properly placed

Two detection modes (reflection type and transmission type) are available depending on the shape of the sample. Suitable for measuring samples in all forms: liquid, solid, pasty, and fibrous. ・Reflection type: Powder, solid, biological tissue, liquid*, film* (*: using transmission-reflection method) ・Transmission type: liquid, gas, transparent solid

■Small spectroscopic modules can be selected according to the wavelength range.

You can choose from two spectroscopic methods (FTIR and FPI) depending on the wavelength range. ・FTIR: Has a wide wavelength range and can measure many substances. ・FPI: The wavelength range is narrow and the measurement target is limited, but it is inexpensive.

・Quantification of fat content in fish meat, etc. ・Industrial products (plastic discrimination, water quality testing, analysis of solar cell materials, etc.) ・Soil component analysis ・Determination of plastic type and deterioration ・Monitoring of alcohol fermentation process ・Quantification of main components of wheat, soybeans, and rice ・Non-destructive evaluation of fruit sugar content, internal defects, and ripeness ・Non-destructive detection of fruit fly eggs and larvae in fruits ・Evaluation of ingredients on chocolate and butter production lines ・Quality evaluation of coffee and green tea ・Distinguishing the type of meat, etc.

■About near-infrared

Light in the near-infrared range of 780 to 2500 nm has a smaller molecular extinction coefficient than mid-infrared light, so it can be measured without diluting or destroying the target object.
