This is a non-contact sensor that uses ultrasonic waves.

Features

Mechanism of object detection using ultrasound
■Distance measurement using ultrasonic wavesThe distance to the object is measured by applying ultrasonic waves to the object and measuring the time it takes for the reflected waves to return.

■Object detectionFor example, measure the distance between the installed sensor and the ground and store this as the reference distance. ■What is ultrasound?Generally, sounds (sound waves) that have a high frequency and cannot be heard by the human ear are called ultrasound waves. The frequency of sound that can be heard by the human ear (audible range) is approximately 30Hz to 20kHz, and sounds above approximately 20kHz are called ultrasound.

■Features・This device is an object detection sensor with an ultrasonic distance detection function.
・Can be used for various purposes such as water level sensing, vehicle sensing, and crime prevention.
・Detectable distance is 0.5 to 3.5m (when long horn is installed)
・Dustproof and waterproof structure (IP65 equivalent)
・The detection area can be changed by changing the length of the horn.
・The detection distance can be easily changed using the distance adjustment volume inside the main unit.
・You can change the number of transmitted pulses using the dip switch inside the main unit (10PLS/50PLS)
- Stable operation even in extremely cold weather with outside temperature sensor and heater
- Internal noise is suppressed by driving the ultrasonic element with a sine wave voltage.
