Features

■Distance measurement using ultrasonic waves
The distance to the object is measured by applying ultrasonic waves to the object and measuring the time it takes for the reflected waves to return.

■What is ultrasound?
Generally, sounds (sound waves) that have a high frequency and cannot be heard by the human ear are called ultrasound waves. The frequency of sound that can be heard by the human ear (audible range) is approximately 30Hz to 20kHz, and sounds above approximately 20kHz are called ultrasound.

- Internal noise is suppressed by driving the ultrasonic element with a sine wave voltage.
