We import and sell lithium-ion batteries manufactured by Winston Battery in China. Winston Battery Company (formerly Thunder Sky Company) was established in 1998 and is a manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries that has received high praise around the world. It has been approved by the US Department of Transportation as a safe battery and is widely used as a power source for everything from electric cars to submarines. Our company, Michinoku Trade LLC, is an official importer of lithium-ion batteries manufactured by Winston Battery. Since iron phosphate (LiFeYPO4) is used for the positive electrode, this battery generates little heat and is highly safe. It will not catch fire or explode even if it is forcibly shorted or punched with a bullet. Furthermore, even if the charging control does not function properly and an overcharge condition occurs, there will be no ignition, explosion, or generation of volatile gas, and the only problem will be deformation and deterioration of the battery cells. As exemplified by the Boeing 787 lithium-ion battery fire accident, quality control of high-performance lithium-ion batteries is difficult, and even major Japanese manufacturers are still far from perfect. So, the reason why iron phosphate lithium ion batteries are considered safe is that, in a nutshell, their performance as a battery is low. The charging and discharging phenomenon of a battery is a chemical reaction inside the battery, and a small, high-capacity, high-performance battery stores a lot of energy in a small volume. In order to safely utilize this high-density energy, extremely advanced quality control is required. Iron phosphate lithium-ion batteries cannot store that much energy internally, so they are safe enough even under Chinese quality control, and they also do not catch fire or explode in the event of an abnormality such as overcharging or overdischarging. I don't do it. The BMS (battery control system) monitors the maximum/minimum voltage of each battery cell and controls the charger and other equipment, making it possible to prevent malfunctions such as overcharging and overdischarging. BMS is a small computer that monitors the voltage, current, and temperature of each battery cell, displays it on the display, keeps the voltage of each battery cell constant, and alerts you when the maximum and minimum values ​​of the set parameters are exceeded. This is a system that emits and controls various devices using CAN communication.
