Fluke Calibration has improved the hydraulic calibration process with the introduction of the E-DWT-H electronic dead-weight pressure gauge. The E-DWT-H is an electronic calibrator designed to add digital measurement capabilities and convenience to the performance of traditional hydraulic dead-weight pressure gauges. Improvements in E-DWT-H include:
■Features
・No need to adjust, transport, or send out weights for each calibration
・Displays pressure in real time, eliminating the need to understand or correct local gravity or ambient temperature
・No need to replace piston cylinder
・Suppression of horizontal and vibration effects
- Can accurately set and read any pressure value. No minimum increments limited by the smallest weight available. Ideal when the nominal pressure must be precisely set and measured on the equipment under test, such as when calibrating analog gauges
- Operates in any measurement unit, easy to switch units
The E-DWT-H is suitable for metrology, calibration labs, production sites, and in the field. It can also work with a variety of test media, including sebacic acid calibration solution, mineral oil, and water. The 1-year measurement uncertainty is ± 0.02% of total reading, which is comparable to the best laboratory weight pressure gauges.
■Working medium
The 6531 and 6532 E-DWT kits are shipped dry and with standard processing. Can be filled with diethylhexyl sebacate, silicone oil, propylene glycol, fully fluorinated liquids, partially fluorinated liquids, isopropyl alcohol, and distilled water or mineral oil
■TEST pressure connection
DH500 female, 200 MPa (maximum working pressure) adapters for NPT (3.2 mm, 6.4 mm, 9.6 mm and 12.8 mm), BSP (3.2 mm, 6.4 mm, 9.6 mm and 12.8 mm), M20 x 1.5 and M14 x 1.5 Included. The maximum working pressure of the adapter is 140 MPa. Note: DH500 is a collar fitting with packing for 6 mm conical reverse thread pipe (equivalent to AE F250C, HIP HF4, 9/16-18 UNF, etc.).
