About This Product

■100 kPa to 110 MPa (15 to 16,000 psi) gas pressure

The PG7202 is a member of the PG7000 product family of reference level piston gauges, covering high pressure gas ranges up to 110 MPa (16,000 psi). Working directly with gas avoids liquid-gas separators that add uncertainty to the measurement process and are difficult to use. The PG7202's gas-operated, liquid-lubricated piston-cylinder design overcomes the drawbacks of lubricating the piston-cylinder with high-pressure gas. Performance is unaffected by gas cleanliness and piston drop rate is lower than standard hydraulic piston gauges. When combined with the GPC1 gas pressure controller, the PG7202 creates a completely manually operated calibration system that allows easy gas pressure settings and adjustments. Adding an AMH-100 automatic weight handling system in place of the PPCH-G automatic pressure controller on the GPC1 allows for complete automation of PG7202 operation. All PG7202 piston-cylinder modules can also be offered with fluorinated synthetic lubricant Krytox® to lubricate the piston-cylinder when hydrocarbon-free systems are required.

■Differential pressure at high line pressure

Two PG7202s can be used in combination to define low differential pressures at high line pressures.
