About This Product
Timken® ADAPT® bearings are specifically designed for continuous casting machines where performance and reliability are critical to maintaining operation. ADAPT bearings are a new design evolution of traditional cylindrical and spherical roller bearing configurations, allowing operators to enjoy the important attributes of both types.
Bearings consist of an inner ring, an outer ring, and a roller/cage assembly. The retainer creates a one-piece assembly that holds the rollers in place and protects them from damage during installation and removal.
Separable parts simplify installation, removal, and inspection. Inner and outer rings can be installed in either direction, convenient to avoid common installation errors. No special tools required.
■Introduction size range: Inner diameter 100mm to 170mm (3.94 inches to 6.69 inches)
