About This Product

■Summary

``The highest level of high-performance sound insulation flooring for wooden buildings'' jointly developed with Mitsubishi Jisho Home Co., Ltd. won the 2018 Good Design Award. <SS board (sound insulating floor material)> and <SS high-damping hanging tree (hanging tree using high-damping rubber)> produce the highest level of weight impact sound, which is significantly improved than the sound insulation performance of general wooden buildings. LH-45" and lightweight impact sound "LL-45", making it possible to significantly reduce loud impact sounds such as those caused by children jumping. Furthermore, while achieving the highest level of sound insulation performance, it does not have a complicated structure, making it lightweight, easy to install, and low cost. In addition, the floor structure can be used in general wooden buildings, making it highly versatile and suitable for residential as well as non-residential uses and renovation work.

■Base material “SS board” with excellent sound insulation properties

<SS board (acoustic flooring material)> is manufactured by vacuum extrusion molding and autoclave curing. The densely bonded tobermorite crystals create a base material with high density, high strength, and high rigidity.

■Sound insulation level can be improved just by installing "SS board".

This is a performance that improves the sound insulation class by 1 to 3 ranks, depending on the determined frequency. Although it is said that sound isolation is difficult in the low frequency range around 63Hz, a reduction effect of about 10 dB was seen in weight impact sound. *These are test values ​​and are not guaranteed values. Lightweight floor impact noise (LL) can be improved relatively easily by changing the type of floor finishing material (changing from flooring to carpet, cushioned flooring, etc.), but heavy floor impact noise (LH) This can be reduced by changing rigidity and weight, and it is difficult to achieve this effect with surface finishing materials. The biggest advantage of the SS board is that it can reduce weight and floor impact with a single floor panel.
