About This Product

■Mechanism of heat exchange

Switches between air supply and exhaust in a 70 second cycle. One set consists of two ventilation units, and the air supply and exhaust are switched by interlocking and reversing the fans every 70 seconds. Ventilation is performed while the heat of the passing air supply and exhaust air is stored and recovered in the heat storage element. Porous ceramic is used for the heat storage element. Porous ceramic with honeycomb structure has high heat storage capacity and also recovers moisture. In addition, performance can be maintained for a long time with simple maintenance such as cleaning with a vacuum cleaner and washing with water. High energy efficiency with a heat exchange rate of 87%. It is a total heat exchange system with a temperature exchange rate of 87% and a humidity exchange rate of 36% when the air volume is 20m3/h. Tests are conducted by the German testing agency "TUV" in accordance with the German industrial standard DIN.

■Decentral ventilation

A set of two Ventosan ventilators do not ventilation each room individually, but up to eight ventilators can be linked with one controller to ventilate the entire building. Generally speaking, "ductless ventilation" refers to a ventilation system that does not use duct piping. In other words, "ductless ventilation" includes general pipe fans that do not exchange heat, and types that exchange heat in each room individually without controlling the entire building. In Europe and the United States, where heat exchange ventilation systems are becoming more popular, in contrast to the "central ventilation system," which connects ducts and controls the entire building with a single ventilation unit, heat exchange units that are distributed throughout the building are controlled by a single controller. A system that is centrally controlled is called a "decentral (distributed central) ventilation system."

■Benefits of Ventosan

・Advantage 1 Energy saving and maintainability of heat exchange ・Advantage 2: No duct piping required. Design, construction, and time-saving ・Advantage 3: There is no need to worry about contamination inside the duct. No need for regular duct cleaning fees ・Advantage 4: Reduces power consumption. Maximum cost is around 700 yen per year/1 unit (27 yen per 1kw)

■VENTOsan Basement <basement unit>

・Heat exchange rate: 87% (ventilation rate 70% operation 20m3/h) ・Ventilation amount: 29m3/h ・This is a unit for installation in a basement, and is a system with special parts attached instead of an external hood.
