About This Product
■Summary
Calculate the sedimentation state from the time it takes for the ultrasonic wave to be reflected at the interface and received.
Ultrasound has the characteristic of being reflected at the interface between different media. The state of sedimentation is calculated from the time it takes for ultrasonic waves to be emitted from an underwater sensor, reflected at an interface, and received. Since the measurement is made without contacting the sediment, it is possible to measure the interface of opaque treated water or the interface in a deep tank without lowering the sensor to the target sediment.
■Features
・Can measure a wide range of distances from 0.4 to 10 m from the sensor transmitting surface.
- Can measure two locations with one device. (Standard equipment: 1 sensor)
-Uses ultrasonic waves, so measurements can be taken without the influence of transparency, chromaticity, or day or night.
・Since the interface is measured through calculation processing based on changes in supernatant water quality and accumulated sludge concentration, there is no need to change or readjust set values depending on equipment conditions.
・Both the converter and sensor have no moving parts, allowing stable measurement over long periods of time.
■Output
・Alarm output
・4-20mA
・RS232C
*Transfer to PC is possible with optional communication software.
■Applications
Interface level management in settling tanks of water purification plants, sewage treatment plants, and industrial wastewater treatment facilities
■Sensor cleaning method
Dirt on the sensor surface will interfere with sludge interface measurement, so please use a cleaning nozzle to keep the sensor surface clean at all times. Always run water through the cleaning nozzle. (Recommended water volume is 20L/min)
