■Ultrasonic distance/level sensor

The EM500-UDL provides highly accurate distance measurement for a variety of applications in harsh environments, including flood monitoring, wastewater management, and grain and fertilizer fill level monitoring. Measurements are based on ultrasound waves that are transmitted from nearby objects and reflected back.

■Snow surface observation

In cold winters, LoRaWAN-based snow monitoring solutions can help government departments respond to heavy snowfall in a timely manner and avoid facing long road restrictions. The ultrasonic distance level sensor EM500-UDL improves site visibility and contributes to building networks that make cities smarter.

■Tank level monitoring

Measuring tank levels in industrial applications is a difficult task to perform repeatedly, accurately and reliably. Inexpensive conventional rods made of wood, metal, or plastic can be used to continue intuitive inspections, but they are labor intensive and manual reporting methods are prone to errors.
