■Stable operation at low speeds

DC servo motors have a small electrical time constant, so they have excellent responsiveness when stopped or at low speeds. Our "SANMOTION T" achieves stable operation with little speed ripple even at low speeds by reducing cogging torque. Additionally, a high-performance tacho generator and high-resolution encoder can be installed, making it possible to detect and suppress minute speed ripples.

■Compatible with low voltage specifications

For 23W, 40W, and 60W motors, the motor winding specifications can be changed to 24V series. If the power supply voltage is low, it is easy to downsize the servo amplifier. Additionally, due to its safety advantages, it is suitable for applications with strict safety standards, such as medical equipment.

■Improved system accuracy with vibration damping control and disturbance suppression functions

Feedforward vibration damping control function suppresses machine tip vibration and machine base vibration. Additionally, in a multi-axis configuration, a disturbance observer suppresses vibrations from other axes. Furthermore, a 4-stage notch filter that reduces phase lag suppresses mechanical resonance and achieves high response. These features increase system accuracy and reduce cycle time.

■Easy setup and tuning on PC

Initial setup, from setting various parameters to trial running using the jog function, can be easily performed from a PC. In addition, the inertia identification function using a new algorithm and various settings enable auto-tuning with improved responsiveness. Furthermore, support functions such as a waveform trace function that displays monitor waveforms such as position, speed, and torque in easy-to-understand graphics and a system analysis function strongly support system tuning. The "SANMOTION T" servo amplifier can use the same setup software as our AC servo system "SANMOTION R."

■Amplifier and motor both comply with overseas product safety standards

The servo amplifier is standard and complies with overseas product safety standards (UL, c-UL, EN standards), and the servo motor can be selected to meet EN standards.
