Achieves waterproof and dustproof performance with protection grade "IP68".
*The degree of protection (IP code) is specified by IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) 60529.
■IP68:
・There must be no intrusion of dust.
・There is no intrusion of water that could cause harmful effects even when submerged.
■IPx8 test conditions
Submerged in pressurized water equivalent to a depth of 2 meters for 60 minutes without electricity. After that, operate the product for 15 minutes in free air at the rated voltage, and check that there are no abnormalities in the characteristics or dielectric strength.
■Change the direction of the wind without the need for external ducts
Since the discharge and suction ports are vertical, there is no need for an external duct and the direction of the air can be changed, contributing to the downsizing of the device.
■High static pressure performance ideal for equipment with high system impedance
Since the outlet is duct-shaped, it can produce straight air with high static pressure. Ideal for devices with high ventilation resistance, such as servers, where mounted components are closely packed. During development, we achieved high static pressure and low noise by devising the design of the blades and frame. The rotating sound of the fan has a gentle sound quality due to the improved blade and frame shape.
