About This Product

■Features1. This product is an electric lock with a built-in self-holding solenoid (keep solenoid).
2. The lock and unlock states are switched by energizing the solenoid.
3. The built-in microswitch (MS1) detects the state of part number 4 lock cam.
4. This product has a drip-proof structure that will not lose function even if exposed to water, provided it is installed in the correct orientation.

■Precautions1. Depending on the door's trajectory, the main unit and the keeper may interfere with each other. Please verify this using the drawings or the actual device.
2. Do not apply load to the lock cam from the side.
3. Do not apply load to the lead wires.
4. This product can only be used in the installation direction shown in this diagram. (Cannot be used upside down or sideways)

5. When this product is locked (as shown in the diagram), if a load is applied to the lock cam in the direction of opening the door, the solenoid will not operate and the lock will not be released. (*) In such cases, please use a catch or similar device to hold the door in place.

*Load in the direction of opening the door: This refers to the repulsion of gaskets between the door and the housing, or the constant load in the direction of opening the door due to spring hinges, etc.

6. Although this product has drip-proof properties, please refrain from using it in places where freezing, condensation, or dust occurs, or when directly exposing this product to the outdoors.

7. If this product is powered on continuously for more than 5 seconds, there is a risk of wire breakage due to overheating. When using it again, please wait until the solenoid coil has cooled down sufficiently.
