About This Product

■Summary

R2023 is a 2-wire serial interface (I2C bus) real-time clock IC. Connection with the host is made using two signal lines (SCL, SDA). 6 types of interrupt generation functions, 2 systems of alarm functions, oscillation stop detection function that can be applied to determine data validity at power-on, etc., power supply voltage monitoring function with 2-value threshold voltage, 32kHz for subclock of external microcontroller Equipped with a clock output (CMOS output, control terminal included) function and a digital clock error correction function that allows the clock to be set with high precision. Furthermore, since the oscillation circuit is driven at a constant voltage, there is little voltage fluctuation in the oscillation frequency, achieving low current consumption (Typ. 0.45µA at 3V). All the resistance and capacitance for the oscillation circuit are built-in, so oscillation can be performed simply by connecting an external crystal resonator. We also support small crystal resonators with high equivalent series resistance.
