■Summary
NR1700 is a 42V, 200mA voltage regulator using a CMOS process. The output voltage can be set arbitrarily within the range of 1.2V to 24V using an external resistor.
Feedback voltage accuracy is extremely high at -0.5% to +0.7%, and output voltage can also be set with high precision. In addition, stable operation is possible with a wide range of output capacitors (ceramic capacitors) from 0.1μF to 100μF. The IC's built-in protection circuitry includes thermal shutdown, overcurrent protection with foldback characteristics, and short circuit protection.
