■Structure and characteristics of Idefron ETFE
It is an electric wire whose conductor (tin-plated annealed copper wire, nickel-plated annealed copper wire) is extruded and coated with fluororesin ETFE, and is slightly harder than other Ideflon electric wires, and its continuous operating temperature is -100℃ to +150℃, which is slightly inferior. The electrical and chemical properties are almost the same, and the mechanical strength is excellent.
In the case of other cables, if they are handled with force or sudden pulling, the cables may rub against each other, or the cables and the support may rub against each other, causing damage to the sheathing. Cut-through is the most common cause of breakage in industrial cables, and it often occurs during wiring, but ETFE has much better cut-through than other insulation materials, even when the sheath is thin and at high temperatures. There is a lot of resistance.
ETFE's excellent electrical properties and mechanical strength make it an extremely popular material in the electronics industry. For example, it is ideal for electric wires used for wrapping-type wiring of electronic computers.
