About This Product

■Coordinate measuring machine = A CNC three-dimensional measuring machine with excellent environmental resistance that overturns common sense in measurement rooms.

MiSTAR 555 is a CNC coordinate measuring machine with the concept of "a measuring machine that can be installed in any environment." All-in-one space-saving structure with a wide temperature range that guarantees accuracy and an environmentally resistant absolute scale. It contributes to improving customer productivity with performance that stands out from conventional coordinate measuring machines.

■Enables measurement under harsh environments at production sites.

A three-dimensional measuring machine that is resistant to dirt due to its environment-resistant absolute scale and completely new main body structure. High reliability thanks to real-time temperature correction technology that guarantees accuracy over a wide range of temperatures. Achieved length measurement error E 0 ,MPE= (2.2+3L/1,000) μm. MiSTAR 555 can be installed at the production site and used right next to the processing machine on the production line.

■Ease of use that reduces operator workload.

The cantilevered structure allows the measurement area to be opened on three sides by reconsidering the material of the measuring device itself. Compared to the gate-type structure, it allows for a higher degree of freedom in approaching the measurement stage. Particularly at sites where work space is often limited, you can experience the excellent workability of having three sides open.

・Accuracy guaranteed temperature range 10℃~40℃ ・Real-time workpiece temperature correction eliminates the need for temperature acclimatization, regardless of the installation location depending on the temperature environment.

■Resistant to stains

・Uses a newly developed dirt-resistant, environment-resistant absolute scale (more than twice as strong as conventional models), and uses linear guides for the main body's moving parts. ・Conventional air bearings required a clean environment and air to prevent galling and clogging, but linear guides have made it airless and have improved environmental resistance. ・Achieves long-term maintenance-free operation even when used at sites where oil mist is scattered.

■Energy saving

Due to the wide accuracy guaranteed temperature range and airless design, it is possible to reduce the need for air conditioners and air supply equipment, making it possible to significantly reduce running costs compared to conventional machines.

■Efficient work

A measuring range of 570 x 500 x 500 mm is ensured, and the 3-sided open structure allows for approach to the workpiece.
