■Features of high-precision cylinder sensor
1.High precision
With conventional sensors, it was difficult to detect 5 mm or less, but now it is possible to detect 0.1 mm. In addition, conventional sensors had a repeatability of about 10μm, but Asa Electronics' sensors have a repeatability of 1μm.
2.Cylinders can be mounted closely together
When using multiple cylinders in parallel, they had to be installed far apart to avoid false detection of other cylinders. However, Asa Electronics' sensors only detect magnetic force perpendicular to the detection surface, so there is no malfunction and cylinders can be mounted closely together.
3. Compact
The body length is small with a length of 14.5mm to 24.5mm.
4. Resistant to high temperature environments
The operating ambient temperature can be up to +85℃.
■Why Asa Electronics' cylinder sensors are highly accurate
Turns ON/OFF by detecting the ring-shaped magnet built into the cylinder piston.
■Conventional sensor
Since the magnitude of the magnetic force is detected regardless of the direction of the magnetic force, the operating point is on the gentle part of the operating curve.This was the reason why strokes of 5 mm or less could not be detected and stable operation over a long period of time was difficult. .
■Asa Electronics Sensors
Because it only detects magnetic force perpendicular to the detection surface, the operating curve is completely different from that of conventional sensors. Since the operating point is located at the steep part of the operating curve, even small strokes can be reliably detected and operation is stable even during long-term use.
