A meter relay is a product that combines an analog panel meter with a position detection mechanism and a relay circuit, and allows the user to operate the built-in relay at a point on the scale set arbitrarily.
By using relay contacts that switch in conjunction with the deflection of the pointer, various automatic control and automatic alarm mechanisms can be configured. In particular, this RL/TRL series meter relay uses a non-contact photoelectric type for the position detection mechanism, which solves various problems found in conventional contact type and transmitting type meter relays, and has been used for many years. Coupled with reliable technology backed by production results, we have achieved high precision, high reliability, and long life.
Features of RL/TRL series meter relays
■Adopts photoelectric type using LED
The detection mechanism uses a non-contact photoelectric type that uses LEDs and silicon phototransistors. As a result, stable operation is achieved without any problems such as stickiness and chattering that occur with contact-type meter relays, or problems caused by high-frequency leakage that occur with oscillation-type meter relays. Additionally, since it uses an LED as the light source, it has a semi-permanent lifespan, making it ideal for equipment and various control devices that require frequent alarm operations.
■Equipped with an indicator lamp that allows you to see the operation at a glance
A red LED high/low operation indicator lamp is mounted on the front of the instrument, allowing you to check operation at a glance even from a distance.
■High visibility due to large scale opening
The large opening on the scale face, which is the same as a normal panel meter, provides very good visibility as an analog meter.
■There is no indication error due to the mounting panel.
By adopting an internal device with low magnetic leakage, there is no effect on the reading error regardless of whether the panel material is ferrous or non-ferrous.
■Panel cutting and installation are easy.
The case has a rectangular shape. As a result, only one rectangular mounting hole is required for panel cutting, and there is no need to drill holes in the panel for mounting studs. Additionally, the dedicated mounting brackets can significantly reduce installation time.
■Built-in power transformer type can also be manufactured.
A power transformer compatible with AC100/110/200/220V can be built into the meter relay body. (B type model) In addition, the depth dimension of the type with an external power transformer is significantly shorter than that of the built-in type.
