About This Product
The RA8835A supports resolutions up to 640x256 pixels and also supports layered text, graphics, and mixed text/graphics display modes. It also features smooth horizontal and vertical scrolling, blinking, partial display on multiple displays, and programmable cursor control.
External CGROM supports 256,8×16pixel and 64,8×16pixel characters. The internal mask ROM can be programmed with 160,5x7 characters. The RA8835A supports interfacing with 6800 and 8080 family microprocessors.
The RA8835A is fully compatible with the Epson-SIDI3305LCD controller, which is no longer in production. Customers using the SIDI3305 can easily replace it without any changes to their existing LCD module or PCB layout. Therefore, there is no cost for new development. In fact, it has better functionality and lower power consumption than SIDI3305.
