About This Product

■Earth terminal block and PE terminal block Protection of humans and machines

The earth terminal block is a protective feedthrough terminal with PE function (ground), i.e. a conductive connection is made to the DIN rail/DIN mounting rail. Protective earth terminal blocks have one or more connection points and can be used as single-level PE terminal blocks, multi-level ground terminal blocks (double-level and three-level terminal blocks). Some terminals are combined with DIN rails/top hat rails and offer the possibility of separating the PEN conductors (PEN functionality in switchgear). DIN rails and C profiles can also be used as protective earthing busbars (PE conductors) or PEN conductors under certain conditions. Weidmüller's PE ground terminals with spring and screw connections meet the requirements for PE wire specified in IEC60947-7-2. In accordance with VDE0100Part540, a protective earth conductor and a neutral conductor with a conductor cross section of 10 mm2 or more can be combined to form a simplified conductor as PEN. The unique modular concept can be individually adjusted to suit all types of machines. The potential distribution terminal block AAP model series is highly praised for its uniform shape that allows for two configurations: alternating or grouping. In grouped control voltage distribution structures, the potentials are located on different terminal blocks and form a whole potential block.
