About This Product

Black Box is a compact water source heat pump (water cooled chiller). Because it is small and lightweight, it is very advantageous for handling on site. Internally, based on a design philosophy that thoroughly avoids breakdowns, the four-way valve has been eliminated, and there is no switching between cold water and hot water output (controlled on the piping side as necessary). In order to minimize on-site costs, the refrigerant gas path is kept to a minimum, making installation easy even for equipment construction companies that are unfamiliar with refrigerators. In the unlikely event of an emergency, repairs can be easily carried out by shipping the unit. The amount of refrigerant gas charged is also the smallest, around 2.9 kg for a 10 horsepower unit. The weight of the main unit is less than 150kg. It is also a concept that will greatly change the weight design in facility and building construction.

■Differences from conventional products・The concept is different from conventional products, and the number of required parts, size, weight, and operational stability are significantly different.
・All on-site costs such as transportation costs, travel costs, construction costs, and amount of refrigerant gas can be reduced, making a big difference in total costs.

■Applications・Ground heat source hot water floor heating/floor cooling. Heat source temperature: 15℃. Winter: Heating temperature 30-35℃/Summer: Cooling temperature 22-25℃
- Cooling tower water heat source boiler feed water heating. Heat source temperature: 15°C in winter, 32°C in summer; Heating inlet temperature: 10°C → 55°C in winter, 25°C → 55°C in summer (batch operation)
・Hot spring wastewater heat source Karan water supply heating, hot spring additional heating. Heat source temperature 35℃ (with corrosion and dirt), Karan water supply 5℃ → 45℃ or hot spring additional heating 38℃ → 45℃
・Linen factory wastewater heat source boiler feed water heating. Heat source temperature 20℃ (with fibrous dirt), water supply 25℃→55℃
・Other uses include udon factory waste heat recovery, paint booth exhaust heat, paint line phosphoric acid tank heating, snow melting heat source, etc.
