About This Product

■Picometer ultra-high resolution spectrometer Hyperfine-HF series

・High wavelength resolution from 1.6pm using VIPA technology, 2x resolution upgrade ・Detector upgrade, high-resolution measurement of weak light and scattered light (Brillouin-Raman measurement, etc.)

■Picometer ultra-high resolution spectrometer Hyperfine-HF series Product overview

The picometer ultra-high resolution spectrometer Hyperfine-HF series (manufactured by Light Machinery) is a spectrometer with picometer resolution designed for characterizing spectral shift measurements of weak light (Bourouin scattering and Raman scattering). Equipped with a VIPA optical system created using the company's proprietary polishing technology, it achieves high resolution comparable to large long focus spectrometers. VIPA has higher transmittance than etalon and has approximately 50 times more throughput. The measurement wavelength range corresponds to the VIS/NIR region (select from a total of 10 models), and even with the standard specification, it is possible to measure at a maximum of 1.6 picometers. If you add the option HF-UHR specification, you can further upgrade the resolution by 2x. Upgrade options are also available for the on-board detector, and the sensitivity of the detector for measuring weak light can be improved. LabVIEW drivers and C# software are also available.

■VIPA (Virtually Imaged Phased Array) technology | Patented

A cylindrical lens disperses light in the vertical direction and illuminates the VIPA, and a grating further disperses the separated light to separate overlapping orders of light. This allows for a wider range of simultaneous measurements.

■Main uses

・Plasma spectroscopy ・High precision gas spectroscopy ・Brillouin spectroscopy ・Femtosecond comb fingerprinting spectroscopy ・Spectral domain optical coherent tomography ・Solar spectroscopy ・Astronomical spectroscopy ・Raman and low frequency Raman ・Other physical/chemical research (Zeeman splitting, elemental hyperfine magnetic structure analysis, hydrogen structure, Doppler shift of Franhofer lines during the rotation of the sun) ・Research paper | Light Machinery
