This spectrometer has a simple structure with one (or two) aberration-correcting concave holographic grating.
The small number of mirrors provides performance as a high-resolution and bright spectrometer, and in addition to vacuum ultraviolet spectroscopic measurements, it can be used in a wide range of applications such as wavelength tunable filters for light sources and vacuum ultraviolet spectral characteristic evaluation of optical elements. Available. McPherson offers Seya-Namioka spectrometers in three focal lengths:

・50cm (235 type)
・1m (231 type)
There is also an ultra-high vacuum (UHV) model.
