■Spectrometer for Brillouin scattering measurement Brillouin HYPERFINE Ultra-high resolution sub-GHz, equipped with laser line removal function, PC-controlled alignment ■Spectrometer for Brillouin scattering measurement "Brillouin HYPERFINE" Product overview This product from LightMachinery is a specially designed spectrometer developed to measure, with ultra-high resolution, Brillouin scattered light, where excitation laser light interacts with sound waves in materials and is scattered with a slight frequency shift. It's a vessel. Inside the main body of the spectrometer, there is a spectroscopic optical system with "Brillouin VIPA (Virtually Imaged Phased Array) technology" (patented) that enables ultra-high resolution sub-GHz resolution measurements, and a spectroscopic optical system that cuts the excitation laser beam with high precision. It has a built-in "double-pass Fabry-Perot etalon optical system (Green Killer)" for this purpose. Brillouin scattered light observed in the vicinity of the excitation laser wavelength becomes difficult to measure if the excitation laser is not sufficiently removed if the reflected light from the opaque sample surface is strong. Therefore, by adding an external Green Killer unit as a separate option, it is possible to build an optical system that passes through the excitation laser cutting optical system a total of two times, resulting in a design that can handle even higher-level laser line removal. I am. Excitation wavelengths can be selected from four types: 488nm, 532nm, 660nm, and 780nm. In addition to the standard 1GHz resolution, you can choose from 0.6GHz, 0.3GHz (488nm/532nm), or 0.25GHz (660nm/780nm). The wavelength range for simultaneous measurement in one shot is >2 THz, making it possible to measure a wide range of wavelengths. We also support the design of 2D mapping systems by special order.
