About This Product

■Ultra-high resolution fiber compact spectrometer HORNET product overview

The ultra-high resolution compact fiber spectrometer "HORNET™" (manufactured by Light Machinery) is a revolutionary fiber spectrometer that has a compact housing that fits in the palm of your hand, yet has a resolution of over 30 picometers. Using a High Finesse etalon manufactured using the company's proprietary polishing technology, we have achieved picometer wavelength resolution, which was not easily achieved with conventional grating dispersion spectrometers. The measurement wavelength range corresponds to the UV/VIS/NIR region (select from a total of 11 models), and it can measure the emission spectrum of various light sources (tunable laser, superluminescent diode, gas discharge lamp), and evaluate optical elements. Ideal for applications such as (narrow linewidth notch filters, BP filters, etalons, fiber Bragg gratings). External trigger control is possible, and it supports synchronous measurements from single shots to 10Hz. LabVIEW drivers are also provided.
