About This Product

■Spot UV irradiation device SP-11 Product overview Spot UV irradiation device SP-11 (manufactured by Ushio Inc.) is a fiber irradiation light source that is ideal for the main curing of resins, adhesives, etc. with ultraviolet rays. Compared to the old model SP-9, the new SP-11 has three times the illuminance (ultraviolet light intensity of 7,500mW/cm2 or more), making it possible to shorten the curing time to one-third. The installed lamp is a preset type 275W UV lamp that emits a broad distribution of UV wavelengths to achieve deeper and more dense curing. The device has a compact design with a size of 156 x 275 x 250 mm and a weight of approximately 8.3 kg, and can easily irradiate any location with UV irradiation using an irradiation optical fiber. The light source body is equipped with a motorized shutter as standard, and timer/manual control is possible (timer settings 0.5 to 999 seconds in 0.1 second steps, 1,000 to 9,999 seconds in 1 second steps). A dimming mechanical diaphragm is also built in as standard to adjust the UV intensity, and the intensity can be adjusted linearly from 0 to 100%. In addition to UV curing, it can be conveniently used for various UV irradiation applications.
