About This Product

■BVCM-MIF-02

CoinMech (JVMA method), a bill validator for vending machines, can be connected to a PC, one-board microcontroller, etc. A USB or serial interface can be used for connection to a PC (microcontroller).

■Features

・Can be used regardless of OS via serial connection or USB connection (recognized as a pseudo COM port) ・The firmware automatically handles parts with strict timing requirements in communication with Bill Validation and CoinMech. ・If you are using Windows OS, you can use it more easily by using a dedicated DLL. ・You can easily build a vending machine system using a PC. - Bill validators and coinmechs from various companies can be connected (any model can be used as long as it uses the general JVMA method) ・Electronic money terminals can also be connected (Conlux SX-10, Sanden CRW-MJA, etc.)

■System overview

When building a vending machine system, cash acceptance devices such as bill validators and coin mechanisms are always required. BVCM-MIF-02 was developed to allow these cash collection devices to be easily operated from a PC. The built-in firmware automatically handles timing-critical parts, allowing users to easily operate bill validators and coinmechs. When trying to build a prototype or small-lot vending machine system, it is often more efficient to use a PC. In particular, we have prepared a dedicated DLL for Windows OS, so users can call the dedicated API from a high-level language and operate Bill Validator and CoinMech without being aware of communication. A feature of this machine is that it uses a protocol that enables transparent transmission and reception of Bill Validation and CoinMech commands, so all commands can be sent and received regardless of the model.
