■Small and lightweight
The weight of the main unit is only 12.5 kg, and the installation space is 130 x 130 mm. Since it is easy to carry and install, it can be flexibly adapted to line installation and layout changes. Since it is powered by 24V DC power, it can be installed on transfer robots by using a battery-compatible driver.
■Approach various angles by rotating and bending the wrist axis
A motor for wrist rotation is added to the 4th axis for the 5-axis multi-joint. This makes it possible to approach various angles by rotating and bending the wrist axis. It is possible to transport workpieces at different angles, and to transport workpieces horizontally in front of the robot.
■Motor can be replaced by customer
Some motors can be replaced by the customer. Reduces maintenance burden (cost and time) after installation.
■Easy to control robot controller
MRC01 is a robot controller that can control robots equipped with the AZ series. The programming software MRC Studio (free) is so simple that even those with no robot control experience can master it right away.
The lineup also includes a robot controller unit that integrates the MRC01 and driver. It lowers the control hurdles when introducing robots and contributes to shortening start-up time.
■Adopts AZ series equipped with battery-less absolute sensor
Adopts αSTEP AZ series (DC input) on all axes. Absolute method eliminates the need for external sensors, saves wiring, and eliminates battery management, reducing maintenance. DC input makes it easy to route the power line. It can flexibly respond to line installation and layout changes.
