■Full-closed control of stepping motor

At the start of positioning, open-loop control is performed that takes advantage of the stepping motor's high response, and once the position command is completed, position correction is performed using external sensor feedback.

■Achieves high precision positioning

Fully closed-loop control provides direct feedback of the position on the mechanism and compensates for the difference between the detected position and the commanded position. Contributes to the design of equipment that requires highly accurate submicron positioning. Stepping motor requires no gain adjustment and no hunting

■No need for gain adjustment

Unlike servo motors, there is no need to adjust the gain according to the mechanism. Since positioning operation is not always performed using encoder feedback, there is no need to adjust mechanisms such as belt pulleys and cams to suit the load.

■Holds stopped position without hunting

There is no hunting when positioning is completed, and the motor stops by its own holding force. Ideal for applications where vibration during stopping is a problem.

■Compatible with various external sensors according to the mechanism

It is compatible with various sensors from various companies, and feedback from the sensor type can be used depending on the mechanism.

■Common driver size and installation method

The CVD series uses a common mounting plate and has the same mounting hole pitch. Drivers with connectors in different orientations are available depending on the installation method.

■Easy operation from a PC with support software MEXE02

By using the support software MEXE02, you can set and edit operating data and various parameters, as well as perform teaching and monitor various conditions.
