■Summary

Solar Light's state-of-the-art 1,000W single output LS1000 series solar simulator produces solar ultraviolet radiation in the 290-400nm range with UVA-only and UVB-only options. Output beams are round or square and range in size from 2 to 6 inches (5 to 15.25 cm). These precision laboratory-grade instruments are specifically designed to comply with standards such as ASTM, IEC, and ISO. LS1000 series simulators can reliably generate UV levels several times stronger than the tropical sun without the associated heat load, making them ideal for measuring the harmful effects of UV during materials testing, cosmetics, dermatology, etc. It is also ideal for research in photobiology, medicine, and photobiology.
